Welcome to the 2010 Healthy Challenge Points System Overview

Research shows that poor health can impact a business’ bottom line through sick leave, higher insurance premiums, and lower productivity. Through this member challenge, we hope to bring awareness by providing a tracking system that will enable them to view their current lifestyle and eating habits and focus on areas that may need improvement.

Here are the total points you can receive on a daily basis (weekends count as one day):

  • ONE (1) point for every 15 minutes of exercise

  • ONE (1) point for each serving of fruit & vegetable

  • ONE (1) point for each EIGHT (8) ounces of water, MAXIMUM OF 10 POINTs

  • ONE (1) point for each EIGHT (8) hours of sleep

  • ONE (1) point for each 15 minutes of meditation/prayer

  • ONE (1) point for each 30 minutes of recreational reading

  • TEN (10) points for attending a health seminar or health/ wellness committee meeting
