Why do I need a custom website when I can build my own from a template or, even better, have my nephew/neighbor do it?
You have 5 seconds or less to capture your potential customer's attention once they land on your homepage. Your first impression should not be that you cut corners or that you are nothing special. Your website's presence is to increase your revenue. Don't lose a potential sale because you went to a cookie cutter template or heaven forbid-- your nephew (who's now off in college and can't be bothered with those changes you so desperately need to make!)
2. Custom software can be incredibly expensive. Can't I just use a third-party tool?
Third-party tools are made to be generic so they can be a "good" fit for everyone. That's great for if all you want is "good" managing your website or your business. But, if you're looking for GRRRRRREAT!, let CDK help! Remember, your business is a unique entity and your software should reflect that, unless all that extra business would be too much trouble.
